Greetings from Kiersten Magee, the daughter of Larry and Racarol Hamlin-Magee. I am currently a senior at John Paul II High School in Plano, TX. I am looking forward to attending college and pursuing a degree in Engineering.

I have good news! I have been chosen by the Collin County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. to be a debutante in their 2012 Annual Debutante Cotillion Ball. As a debutante, I am proud to say that my escort and I are involved in a nine-month program that includes cultural, educational, social activities and public service designed to benefit the communities of Collin County and beyond.

In May 2012, I will celebrate the achievement of my debutante activities at the Debutante Cotillion Ball. This year’s theme is Elegance in Bloom: Discovering the Beauty Within. The Cotillion Ball will formally introduce and present me along with other young ladies to society in a formal setting. I am very excited about this event and invite you to join me in the celebration of this momentous occasion. The details are as follows:

When: Sunday, May 20, 2012
Time: Reception @ 5:30pm
Cotillion Ball @ 6:00pm
Where: Courtyard Marriott Hotel
10 East Stacy Road, Allen, TX 75002
Ticket cost: $60/person
Attire: Formal Wear required

I will have the wonderful opportunity to be presented with a scholarship at the Cotillion Ball. The amount of the scholarship will be based on the amount of funds that I raise. Therefore, I am asking family and friends to help fund the scholarship award by becoming a sponsor and taking out an advertisement in the 2012 Debutante Cotillion Souvenir Book.* The support levels are as follows:
